NATURE CONSERVATION MARGARET RIVER REGION

(formerly the Cape to Cape Catchments Group)

Since 2002 Nature Conservation has worked to design and develop effective and sustainable solutions to key environmental challenges facing the Margaret River region, south-west Australia. The organisation leverages the strength of the regional community by raising awareness, inspiring commitment and empowering action on behalf of the environment. It does this by combining grassroots community support with sound conservation science and pragmatic policy initiatives.

Programs include:

  • People for Nature
  • Conserving the Margaret River
  • Caring for Coast
  • Coordinating Weed Control
  • Managing Bushland for Wildlife
  • Threatened Species Protection
  • Environmental Education

Regular opportunities exist for volunteering and learning via hands-on workshops.
